Hall Rental

Hall and Facility Rental at Penshurst Anglican Church

Thank you for your interest in holding your event at Penshurst Anglican Church.  Our church facilities are available for rent to both members and non-members. The list below contains information about our facilities that we hope will be helpful to you in planning your event. Please also read the PAC Hall Hire Agreement (in two parts as Licence Memorandum and Licence Schedule). For more information, please contact churchrental@penshurstanglican.org for more details.

Please note that it is a condition of all hires that the hire must be covered by a valid public liability insurance policy.  If you already have a valid policy, you must supply us with a copy of the Certificate of Currency which notes the interests of Penshurst Anglican Church on the policy.

You may want to use the checklist to gain an understanding of the process involved in hiring the hall.

HALL HIRE RATES

Rate (including GST)

Minimum hire of 2 hours at $60/hour ($120 in total)*, then $30 per hour thereafter
 

* Rates include set-up times.

Comments

Additional security bond of $400 required. This amount is GST-free to the extent that it is not forfeited.

Includes use of carpark.

Rate (including GST)

$20 per hour for each classroom

Additional security bond of $200 required. This amount is GST-free to the extent that it is not forfeited.

Wedding Church Hire

HIRE RATES FOR WEDDINGS IN THE CHURCH

Weddings in the church when wedding is conducted by Parish Minister.

Rate (including GST)

$950 flat rate comprising:

  • Completion of Notice of Intended Marriage (Blue Form)

  • 4-week marriage preparation course

  • pre-wedding rehearsal

  • set-up on the day, of flowers and decorations

  • conduct of Ceremony

  • clean up and lockup

  • administration costs

 

Comments

NB. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure booking. Balance is payable at pre-wedding rehearsal.

 

Additional charge for organist:
$100 for rehearsal;
$150 for ceremony
